You will learn about and develop:
• Strength: we will be looking at different muscle contractions, bent arm and straight arm strength, positions and postures that will be needed in performing a handstand.
• Mobility: learning how to take care of wrists, forearms, and shoulders with manual therapy techniques
• Co-ordination: body awareness, proprioception – via manual therapy techniques, breath work and locomotive sequences.
• Confidence: how to develop confidence and move with and through fear
Our focus will be on conditioning, alignment, mobility and over coming the fear of falling which will change your perspective of inversions and leave you inspired!
Beware – As you maybe become addicted to being upside down and having fun!
