Beth Crivelli - yoga teacher

Program Lead: Beth Crivelli

In 2011, disenchanted by my fashion career, I decided to swap luxury rags for sweaty shorts to become a Bikram yoga teacher.   Throughout my years of teaching and practicing different styles of yoga, I realised the magnitude of what yoga truly is – a physical, spiritual and ethical practice.

I have since trained in Yoga Therapy, Jivamukti Yoga, Vinyasa flow, Pre & Post natal yoga, Yin, Mat Pilates and taken a number of anatomy and other courses.   As well as teaching Yoga to the general public, I specialise in bespoke yoga for the individual.   Throughout my years of teaching, I have come to realise the extent to which we all have different bodies and different life experiences and these create a unique life story for each of us.

I assist my students through movement, breath, meditation and awareness in adapting the practice to their own individual needs; physical, emotional and mental.

My public classes are versatile and adaptable but still challenging; I believe there is a pose in each pose for everyone.   I provide options and layering so that students are encouraged to use their inner teacher and meet their boundaries whilst respecting their own limits.   Through acceptance we can find growth.

Whilst leading the teacher trainings (Hot 26/2, Vinyasa and Yin) for Sadhana Yoga & Wellbeing I encourage trainees to find their own voice and respect the core values of yoga. I teach the trainings from a place that believes yoga is for everyone and has nothing to with performance and all to do with introspection and working to be the best version of ourselves we can be.

Yoga has stretched, healed and strengthened my body, belief system, mind and soul, in unexpected and amazing ways.  Yoga continuously challenges changes and shapes you.   The practice of yoga is a harmonising self-study, which helps to align one with inner and outer peace, as well as the earth and all its earthlings.

Eliza Ioannou - Sadhana Wellbeing Yoga Teacher

Eliza Ioannou (Specialising in accessibility inclusivity, yoga History and Subtle yoga anatomy)

Eliza discovered yoga at a young age growing up in South Africa, and has explored elements of this ancient tradition ever since.   As a young adolescent, struggling with bullying and lack of self-esteem, yoga made her feel confidant and connected to herself.

As time passed yoga was a consistent part of her life, even in times when the physical practice (Asana) wasn’t present, the tools she had learned helped her to navigate through life.

After years in the fast-paced fashion industry, Eliza made the decision to do a Vinyasa yoga teacher training in 2017 and has not looked back since.   She has a unique approach to deep relaxation techniques that has created a following of students who seek out reprieve from their modern, stressful lives.

She teaches Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Vinyasa Yoga, Restorative Yoga and sound healing, and is also a Reiki healer.   She is known for her nurturing approach that allows you to discover the practice and grow at your own pace.   She is passionate about making yoga accessible to everyone and is also Accessible Yoga trained.

She believes in allowing students to be guided by their inner knowing and approaches every opportunity to teach as an opportunity to hold space for this discovery.

Eliza has been delivering teacher trainings since 2020 alongside her mentor Beth Crivelli and has had some excellent feedback through the years both from teachers and students.   She approaches teaching from many angles, as she understands that we all learn in different ways.   You can expect to learn through many mediums such as experiential, visual, practical, and theoretical.

Eliza also has a vast experience in teaching private restorative classes to people with specific issues, injuries, conditions and therefore has a deeper understanding of how to adapt practices as needed.

Tristan Barlow

Tristan Barlow (Specialising in Creative sequencing and arm balances)

Tristan has always liked to move. When he discovered yoga, moving became a practice and a passion. Learning is another passion of his, so it felt natural to then teach. Teaching is a passion in which it is necessary to always be a student; he enjoys the symmetry in that.

In 2017, Tristan completed his 200h teacher training with Fierce Grace and has continued his research with several mini-trainings and workshops. Tristan’s own practice is varied, inquisitive and always evolving.

Tristan keeps his instructions light-hearted and clear. His classes are energizing and creative flows designed to give you a better understanding of the possibilities, range, and expressions of moving your body. His classes are a balance of dynamic and restorative moving patterns that emphasize traditional postures , mobility, strength, and the importance of developing an intuitive moving relationship with your own mind, and breath.

Agnieszka Katz Barlow - Yoga Teacher

Agnieszka Katz Barlow (Specialising in Creative sequencing and arm balances)

Agi first came to London from Sweden where she grew up, to study fine art. Amongst the many fun, crazy and exciting things she discovered, yoga was the last thing she anticipated would play such a huge part of her life. The most exciting aspect of yoga was that there seemed to be a never ending ocean of different knowledge to immerse yourself in for the years and years to come!

Agi completed her 250h yoga teacher training with Fierce Grace in 2017.   She continued to immerse herself in learning by practicing and exploring various forms of yoga and attending a broad array of workshops.   Always eager to try new things and learn more, Agi’s self-practice is informed by many types of yoga, movement, meditation, breath work and by reading old and modern yoga text as well as the latest biomechanical sports research.   She values the full scope that the yoga umbrella covers, and the power of the practice to energize and restore the body and mind.

Apart from teaching yoga, Agi is an artist. To Agi, being creative is a key aspect of teaching yoga.   Her classes explore movement and flow, encouraging each person to be intuitive and look inwards.   Agi emphasizes strength, freedom of movement and rejuvenating and energizing the body in her strong dynamic classes.   A Brixton girl since 2003, Agi values community very highly.
