Workshops
Intending and attending
with Norman Blair
5th October 3pm – 6pm
To quote Pico Iyer: Pico Iyer: “In an age of speed, nothing could be more invigorating than going slow. In an age of distraction, nothing can feel more luxurious than paying attention. In an age of constant movement, nothing is more urgent than sitting still.” Being attentive to our experiences and contemplating our intentions can be keys that deepen our practice and enhance our life.

The five phases: how everything connects
with Norman Blair
11th January 2025 3pm – 6pm
Daoism and Chinese philosophy. Water feeds wood; wood is the fuel for fire; fire becomes earth; earth eventually could be metal – and metal contains and enriches water. Within this cycle there are many other elements and directions. In the workshop, we will be looking at these connectivities as a way of exploring our yoga practice and our life.

Opening our hearts
with Norman Blair
26th April 2025 3pm – 6pm
Releasing our brains and our eyes down into our hearts can be a profound practice. Our diaphragms connect to our hearts (so how we breathe can influence our hearts). A question: do we strive for deeper backbends or rest in healthier hearts? In this workshop we will be connecting to our hearts as a guidance for how we practice and how we live.
